Mission

Student Development & Activities aims to promote a community that strives to help students achieve success inside and outside of the classroom and become socially responsible citizens.  We meet with students, student organizations, and their advisors to guide them in the planning and co-sponsoring of programs that will meet the needs of our student body while celebrating our diverse cultures.  In the end we encourage student leadership and social skills to advance personal responsibility and communication.

Program Decisions

Starting in the fall of 2008 Student Development & Activities program approval will be decided by the student staff in conjunction with the Director of Student Development & Activities.  The goal of these meetings is to continue planning successful activities for UArts students and the entire UArts community.  These Programming Meetings are open to all students. The exact meeting date, time, and location will be posted on the Student Development & Activities door (Gershman 313).
