Full Steam Ahead!

Spring break was much needed, but now that it is over, I really have to buckle down for the end of the semester.  I have, however, beaten my addiction to 90s pop music, and have returned to my normal pattern of the social justice-infused, summer musical stylings of OAR and Dispatch.  I think the tipping point was when Pandora ran out of 90’s songs and started steaming early 2000s pop.  When Britney and JT broke up, her music really suffered.  I blame K-Fed.

Spring Stay-cation 2013!

Okay, Okay, I know it's not that exciting.  I decided to stay in Philly.  I would so much rather bum around an exciting city than a boring town, even if said boring town has free laundry and cable (BIG WORDS).

So far I have done laundry for free at my boyfriend's house, that incidentally has cable.  I bought a windbreaker and a really cute pair of work out shorts.  I also bought a new purse, and I have yet to wake up before noon. Needless to say, I am very much enjoying my time off!

Harlem Shake and other Shenanigans

The Week:

On Monday, I went from not knowing what this phenomenon was, to by Thursday, wanting the craze to be over already!  Planking, Ebaum’s World, Chuck Norris, these are all pop culture references are a flash in the pan.  It’s been 15 minutes, so why is the Harlem Shake still on the radar!?  

Please take a few minutes to cringe at these homemade renditions of the Harlem Shake.

6-Hour Studios

Last Tuesday was my dad’s birthday (Happy Birthday, Dad!).  So naturally when class breaked at 11:30, I called him.  He asked me what I had been doing so I started telling him about my Photo II class and how I had break until 1, then class again until 4.  He asked me “what class?”

What class? WHAT CLASS?? It’s the same class.  It’s just a 6-hour studio.

Photography - Concentration in Art Therapy ''15
Baltimore, Maryland

I am currently a Sophomore perusing a BFA in Photography with a concentration in Art Therapy.  I am from Baltimore, Maryland. Outside of class, I enjoy hanging out with friends, exploring the city, working out, and of course, taking pictures.  

My favorite TV shows are Saturday Night Live, The Office, and Parks and Recreation.  I have watched almost all the episodes on Netflix.  Twice.  I live in an off-campus apartment with my roommate, Jill.  We have a blast but we hate  grocery shopping and doing laundry.
