I'm not going to lie, this time of year is pretty awful. This week I have a large project due in Theater History. I have a Stage Combat mock test for my weapon certification test. I have homework in pretty much all of my classes, multiple rehearsals and next Monday are next season's Auditions. Obviously, it's all a bit nerve racking. But this is what this time in my life is supposed to be like. I'm standing at a crossroads and constantly under pressure, but this is when I really mature into a self-sufficient individual. These are times that I'm going to look back on later in life and really appreciate for how I came out on the other end. I'm learning to take things one step at a time so as not to overwhelm myself and really gaining a better work ethic in all of my classes. With only about 3 weeks left until Summer Break, this is the time for a big push that I know will pay off in the end.
My name is Collin and I'm a sophomore acting major here at UArts. I have been acting since I was about nine years old and I love pursuing an education in something I'm really passionate about. Philadelphia is an amazing city and working for UArts has really given me a personal connection with this city and the university.
