10 Boxes of Special K, and 27 Slices of Pizza

First, my dear old friend Sandy caused school to close on Monday and Tuesday.  Luckily Philly was not affected terribly, but public transportation was down, and all the Starbucks were closed, too.  Many of my friends further north were greatly affected by the hurricane, so I feel very lucky that both Philadelphia my hometown of Baltimore were relatively unharmed.  I wish everyone the best of luck with recovery and rebuilding!

In preparation for Aunt Sandy’s visit, my roommate and I went to the grocery store to pick up food that did not need to be refrigerated, and bottled water.  We left with 27 slices of pizza and a combined 10 boxes of cereal.  Food shopping is hard...

By the time school reopened again on Wednesday, I only had my Thursday classes to worry about.  Between the storm and the cancelation of classes my video production class was officially behind schedule.  The original plan was to shoot the assignment Saturday afternoon, but we weren't able to get actors until the following Tuesday night (aka Election Night, aka my favorite night of the year).  The reshoot went a scheduled (as did the election #GObama!).  A link to our group project is on it’s way!   I think we did a pretty good job for a bunch of Photography majors, but an extra week or two would have been ideal.

Another setback from the storm was that pre-registration for the spring semester was messed up.  My advising meeting originally scheduled for two Tuesdays ago had to be rescheduled for this past Tuesday.  This semester I admittedly took too many credits, so next semester I’m only taking 16!  I’ve elected to take Pilates (personally endorsed by my advisor, Alida Fish), a class on human evolution, and another class on child and adolescent psychology.  I made sure to have a lot of breaks between classes so that I can have nap time.

In other news...

The Office on NBC is officially in it’s fair-well season.  I nearly fell off my chair when I heard this.  What will happen to Jim’s new job? Will Jim and Pam fake-move to Philadelphia and fake-be my neighbor?  What about Oscar and the Senator?  Who is Angela’s baby-daddy?!

NBC, don’t let me down.

Photography - Concentration in Art Therapy ''15
Baltimore, Maryland

I am currently a Sophomore perusing a BFA in Photography with a concentration in Art Therapy.  I am from Baltimore, Maryland. Outside of class, I enjoy hanging out with friends, exploring the city, working out, and of course, taking pictures.

My favorite TV shows are Saturday Night Live, The Office, and Parks and Recreation.  I have watched almost all the episodes on Netflix.  Twice.  I live in an off-campus apartment with my roommate, Jill.  We have a blast but we hate  grocery shopping and doing laundry.

Check out my photo tumblr, I update it frequently!
