Fall changes

As the seasons change here at UArts, I'm reminiscent of my freshman year, the changing and falling of the leaves, along with more investment of time and energy into classes. This year I find to be no different. Although the investment of energy and time into my work has really begun to impact me as a person on many new levels. I'm realizing things that I never knew about myself and gaining knowledge and maturity along the way. I feel that I make lifelong discoveries on a daily basis. Now when i am presented with challenges I am excited and ready to meet them head on and surpass them.

I love my job

I came back to Philadelphia in late August to a large hurricane and a city I had almost forgotten. Being away all summer had me aching to come back to Philly and begin my Sophomore year.  When I began looking for a job through the school, all I wanted to do was give tours. I used to give tours at my high school and being an acting major, I loved interacting with people and making their experience at the school fun and informative. So when i ended up at the job fair, I had to sign up for an interview with the admissions office for the job.

My name is Collin and I'm a sophomore acting major here at UArts. I have been acting since I was about nine years old and I love pursuing an education in something I'm really passionate about. Philadelphia is an amazing city and working for UArts has really given me a personal connection with this city and the university.
