Things to See and Do

What can you do on UArts campus?
From lattes to cutting edge exhibitions, from sidewalk cafes to experimental performances in quirky spaces, from the annual Fringe Festival to blockbuster museum shows, you can find it all within walking distance of UArts campus.

A Campus Inseparable from the City
Like Philadelphia itself, The University of the Arts campus offers world-renowned art and architecture, intriguing galleries and lively theaters. UArts’ classroom buildings and residence halls are interspersed with Philadelphia’s landmarks, skyscrapers, and restaurants like ornate pieces scattered across a chess board.

Philly’s Best Activities:
• Weekends at the Philadelphia Zoo
• First Fridays in Old City
• Outdoor activities, like the Broad Street Run
• Nights listening at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts
• Days biking in Fairmount Park
• Field trips to the Philadelphia Museum of Art or the Franklin Institute
• Taste tests at Reading Terminal Market

Artists and Athletes: UArts Running Club finished strong at the Broad Street Run in May 2007.
