Gallery and Performance Spaces
UArts students create on a daily basis. Whether a sculpture, soliloquy, or sketch, great work deserves to be seen and appreciated. UArts operates the following venues:
- Merriam Theater Building: Fully-restored to its original grandeur, UArts’ Merriam Theater invites performing arts students to take center stage.
- Other theaters: Our campus is also home to several theaters of varying sizes.
- The Skyline Performing Arts Center: Scheduled to open during the 2007-2008 academic year, this will be the only performing arts venue with a view of Philadelphia’s skyline.
Performance spaces, when not being used for student productions, shine the spotlight on award-winning dance troupes, traveling theater productions and world-class musicians.
