Philadelphia Attractions

Philadelphia is our campus
We encourage students to find inspiration throughout the urban landscape. Philly is overflowing with stories to tell, scenes to capture, people to meet, museums to explore, parks to tackle, trails to hike, restaurants to sample, and performances to ponder.

Philadelphia is a city as unique as UArts community
From mummers to theaters and cafés to clubs, Philly offers a distinctive blend of old and new. Broad Street gives way to narrow alleys and large boulevards. History, technology and artistic creativity mingle on city corners. Students sketch in their studios, perform in Rittenhouse Square park and do research in coffee shops.

Philadelphia is pioneering the Creative Economy
With 84 institutions of higher education and nearly 300,000 students, Philadelphia graduates more prospective members of the creative class than any other city in the United States. Philadelphia ranks sixth nationally in visual and performing arts graduates.

No matter what you're searching for—a muse, an escape, or just a latte—you can find it in Philadelphia.
