'Vulnerable Invincibility,' Danielle Picard-Sheehan
Thru February 5
Picard-Sheehan's images document her children's dreams, vulnerabilities and fears, while evoking universal themes of birth, religion and spirituality. She utilizes the Ambrotype, a historic photographic process from the turn of the 20th century that creates a positive photographic image on a sheet of glass using a wet plate process for the negative, a perfect match for her dream-like images.
Reception: January 28, 5 – 7 p.m. at the Sol Mednick Gallery.
