“Swineheart: A Brothers’ Tale”
The Cardboard Box Collaborative, a theatre company presents “Swineheart: A Brothers’ Tale” by Andrew H. Beal (assistant to the director of the UArts School of Theater Arts). Two scientists, waiting for a final seismic reading, have lived on coffee, instant meals and cigarettes for over two years. Cut off from headquarters, they turn to each other and play childish games that turn deadly serious. A playful, violent fathomless dive into humanity’s most ancient crime and the most dangerous green creature. The production features UArts alum Brian Cowden, Steve Kuhel and Jessica Dal Canton. The production team includes director Jenny Jacobs, set designer Stephen Hungerford, lighting designer Andrew J. Merkel, costume designer Logan Thompson, composer and sound designer Scott Anderson and fight choreographer Charles Illingworth. Tickets are $15. For reservations, email tickets@cbctheater.org.
