Congratulations to UArts Animation senior Nick LeDonne BFA '18 (Animation), whose powerful film "Hanging," a message of hope based on overcoming his earlier struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts, has won numerous awards (a Student Academy Awards semi-finalist!) and has been honored in dozens of international film festivals. Students Nick LeDonne BFA ’18 (Animation), Nichola Latzgo BFA '18 (Animation), Colton Barto BFA '19 (Animation) and 2016 graduate Mee Choe BFA '16 (Animation) were named winners at the 2016 Bucks Fever FilmFest, an annual, juried festival of short films submitted by high school, college and emerging filmmakers.

LeDonne's "Hanging" (above) took home the top College Animation prize, while Choe's "The Hunt," Latzgo's "7 O'Clock" and Barto's "GBS" each earned an honorable mention in this category. 

Now in its 16th year, Bucks Fever FilmFest is coordinated by the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce. Winning films were screened on October 5 at the Monument Bank in Doylestown, Pa.
