College of Performing Arts Hosts Stage at Philly Street Fest

CPA students and alumni perform at 8th annual Midtown Village Fall Festival

As part of the 8th annual Midtown Village Fall Festival held October 6, the University of the Arts hosted a stage on the corner of Broad and Chestnut Streets featuring various performances by students and alumni from the College of Performing Arts.

School of Music performances included the Rumble bucket-drum ensemble, the Rick Kerber Tribute Band and the “Z” Big Band, as well as a variety of other music ensembles.

The Ira Brind School of Theater Arts presented two showcases, while dancers from the School of Dance performed a piece titled “Xhibition.”

The Midtown Village Fall Festival features music, food, crafts and more, with over 100 merchants and vendors covering an eight-block radius from Market to Spruce Streets and Broad to 11th Streets.
