Students in the Pre-College Summer Institute's Theater program attended a master class given by film and television actress Romy Rosemont. The "Glee" star – who plays Carole Hudson, mom of the late Cory Monteith's character, Finn Hudson – was on hand to teach the program's 45 high school students.

Time magazine praises her performance on the Emmy-nominated hit series as "…a brilliant bit of characterization through small moments."

In addition to "Glee," Rosemont has numerous other film and television credits on her impressive resume. She was featured alongside Catherine Keener in "Please Give" and also appeared with Jennifer Aniston in "Friends with Money." She has had recurring roles on "CSI," "Brothers & Sisters" and "Swing Town," and has guest-starred on countless TV series, including "Castle," "Law & Order: SVU," "Grey's Anatomy" and "Drop Dead Diva."

Rosemont, the daughter of Emmy-winning producer Norman Rosemont, also created the web series "Bitter Party of 5" with her castmates from "Downwardly Mobile," a pilot she shot last year starring Roseanne Barr and John Goodman. They are hoping to move BPO5 from the web to television in the future.

This exciting and immersive four-week program enables students to experience what arts college and instructors are like, while earning three full college credits.

This summer's program also included a master class and performance by Tony Award-winning actress Faith Prince.
