The University of the Arts is currently seeking alumni to participate in its Career Observers externship program launching this spring. The program provides top students with a two- to five-day career shadowing opportunity with UArts alumni at their workplace.

The first Career Observation Week is scheduled for March 11-15, 2013, to coincide with the University's Spring Break. In this pilot phase, we are seeking alumni hosts in Philadelphia and surrounding areas.

If you are interested in volunteering as an alumni host for the UArts Career Observers pilot program, please complete this form.

Students selected to be Career Observers go through a rigorous application process and are members of the UArts chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. The student application process will begin in January 2013 and a limited number of students will be chosen to participate in the program.

If you cannot host a student during the week of Spring Break, but are interested in providing additional opportunities at other times of the year, please contact us at
