University Open 10/31; Normal Schedule

October 30, 2012

It appears as if the the University and Center City have made it through the worst part of the storm in relatively good shape.  The campus's Crisis Management Team continues to monitor the aftermath of the storm as well as the resources and infrastructure in the city. As of now, SEPTA is mostly up and running; some bus routes have detours while regional rail lines will resume service Wednesday morning. Consult the SEPTA website for details. We are also monitoring PATCO and its plans.

The University of the Arts plans to be open tomorrow, Wednesday, October 31, and operating on a regular schedule. If there is a need to make a change to this schedule, it will be announced via UArtsAlert and email, and on the University website and Facebook and Twitter accounts.

For students residing on-campus, we anticipate Mangia re-opening as part of a normal schedule Wednesday at 11 am.

We realize that many students' families may have been severely affected by this storm. Students who need assistance dealing with the aftermath of the storm are encouraged to use counseling services which are located on the 3rd floor of Gershman Hall.
