Alumni Hosts Needed for 2012 UArts Summer Fellows
Summer internship program designed to provide our best students with access to the phenomenal alumni that are part of the UArts family
November 14, 2011
The UArts Summer Fellows program is designed to provide our best students with access to the phenomenal alumni that are part of the UArts family. Students selected to be UArts Summer Fellows go through a rigorous application process, as well as interview, and are motivated to demonstrate their classroom skills in the working world. The University of the Arts provides Summer Fellows with a stipend and alumni hosts provide a summer internship that can be one to eight weeks in duration.
Students who participated in the pilot year of UArts Summer Fellows shared the following feedback:
"This internship makes me even more confident about the profession I want to go into and has me more excited about all the other opportunities that are in store for me in the future."
- Kristen Hom BFA '14 (Photography)
"I had a priceless experience and will always keep the company in my head for the future. Endstation showed me first hand that a theater company is not a simple thing to run, the business is an all-day job that requires consistent stamina and love for what you're doing."
- Arlen Hancock BFA '14 (Acting)
