Stephen J. Lightcap Named Vice President for Finance and Administration

Newtown Square resident Stephen J. Lightcap has been named vice president for finance and administration at the University of the Arts, with responsibility for financial leadership of the 133-year-old institution.
"Stephen has an extensive background in financial management and administration in academic institutions," said University of the Arts President Sean Buffington. "His expertise in strategic planning and the use of technology to drive long-term institutional strategies will be a great asset for us as we move forward in implementing our innovative new academic plan. We are very pleased to have him on board."
Before joining the University of the Arts, Lightcap served as vice president for finance and administration and treasurer at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa. Prior to Cabrini, he served in top-level financial positions at Chestnut Hill College and Moore College of Art, both in Philadelphia. He is a candidate for an Ed.D. in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from Villanova University and a BS in Commerce and Engineering Science from Drexel University.
