Industrial Design Students Stage '5 on 5' Installation Exhibition
Show features FIVE installations in the department's new space on the FIFTH floor of the University's Terra Hall
February 19, 2010
Ranging in theme from survival to storage to information transfer, the exhibition "5 on 5" features five art installations by University of the Arts Industrial Design students on display in the department's new space on the fifth floor of the University's Terra Hall (211 S. Broad St., Philadelphia).
Designed and curated by ID seniors, the exhibit, which runs through March 7, includes eating utensils for when you're stranded in the woods, a networking device that syncs information with a handshake, and soap that teaches children about H1N1 (swine flu). The show showcases the variety of solutions and applications of projects they've completed during the three years in the program.
