Lauren R. Villanueva joined the University of the Arts as director of Alumni & Parent Relations in July 2011. Prior to joining UArts, she was director of Alumni Relations at Drexel University.

Earlier in her career, she held positions in the Development and Alumni Relations offices at Penn Medicine, Penn Dental Medicine and Temple University School of Dentistry. Her expertise includes building programs within alumni relations (including reunions, lifelong learning and career services initiatives), volunteer management and strategic planning.

She is passionate about higher education and feels fortunate that she has been able to work in the field for her entire career thus far.

She holds a BA in Corporate Communication and an MS in Higher Education Administration and Organizational Management, both from Drexel University.

Lauren lives in South Philadelphia, and in her spare time, she enjoys exploring all that the city has to offer (particularly the food and arts scene), traveling, baking and making jewelry.
