Katie Adams graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Art Education and Painting & Printmaking and received her MA in Arts Management from American University. Katie's professional experience includes corporate, foundation and government fundraising, memberships, and individual giving. Prior to joining the UArts team, she served as director of development for the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, Md. As Senior Major Gifts Officer, Katie engages UArts' alumni and friends to advance the mission of the University in a way that meaningfully fulfills the donors' long-term philanthropic goals and passions. Born and raised in Texas, Katie is happy to call Philadelphia and UArts home.
