Kat Muscianesi joined the University of the Arts' Advancement Office in 2007. She received her BS in Art Education from Kutztown University and her Arts Administration certification from Seton Hall University while pursuing an MA in Museum Studies. Kat started her career teaching art in children's museums, hospitals, community centers, camps and schools. She then learned the guitar and worked for Musically Yours, Inc., where she taught an early childhood music literacy program to over 25 nursery schools. Prior to UArts, she was an executive assistant to the president of Pennrose Management Company. Kat is a yogi with a Reiki certification. She currently makes jewelry and collages. Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., and West Caldwell, N.J., Kat resides in South Philly with her girl dog, Javier.
