Scholarship Applications

Application Guidelines:
Deadline: April 4, 2009

Scholarship funds are limited, therefore awards are competitive. Partial scholarships are awarded for talent and/or merit. Faculty members from the respective programs review scholarship applications. In considering the applicants, all components of the application are weighted together, with special emphasis on the portfolio or audition.

Partial scholarships are available for students in all programs. Scholarships are disbursed in varying amounts, including half-tuition, quarter-tuition and a $200 merit scholarship.

To apply for a scholarship, students must carefully adhere to the guidelines listed on these two pages. Requirements for all programs are listed below. The following page includes the portfolio and/or audition requirement for each individual program. Incomplete and/or late applications will be returned without review.

Students are encouraged to submit registration materials as soon as possible and not wait until the scholarship deadline to ensure a place is held in the program of their choice. Most class spaces are filled prior to the scholarship deadline. Students cannot be considered for scholarship review if they do not have a guaranteed space in a program at the time of review.

* Please note that a limited number of Surdna Foundation funded full scholarships are available for students in the greater Philadelphia area. More details about full scholarships and an application are available on our website www.uarts.edu/cs or call Pre-College Programs for more details 215.717.6430
