Here at UArts, we have created a dynamic environment where high school students can find their way in the world as artists, thinkers, creators and performers, both within and outside the classroom. The 400 students who attend the Pre-College Summer Institute travel to Philadelphia from over 30 states and numerous nations. They are creative, curious, talented, energetic and excited about the arts. 

The faculty of the Pre-College Summer Institute is comprised of talented and dedicated educators, artists and professionals from a wide range of artistic fields. Our instructors are master teachers, many of whom also teach in the undergraduate colleges of The University of the Arts.
If you want to:

+ Expose yourself to new ideas and techniques

Open House On April 4, 2009, UArts will host an Open House from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm. The Pre-College Summer Institute will be on hand that day to provide information and answer questions. Student work will be displayed, and the administrative staff of the Pre-College Summer Institute will be present, as well as faculty and former students.
