| A fully professional graduate program in Museum Education is now being offered at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. This one and a half year, thirty-six credit (36), Master of Arts degree prepares you for professional careers in educational programming departments in museums and interpretive centers. It focuses on methods of program presentation and communication with museum audiences of all ages. |

The curriculum addresses the conceptualization, researching, organization, design, and production of museum and interpretive materials, utilizing a variety of techniques and media. It also explores exhibit programming, evaluation and management methods applicable in a wide range of museum situations. Visiting experts in many aspects of museum presentation, education and management participate in the curriculum while students make formal visits to [museum] educational departments, galleries and exhibits in numerous museums in Philadelphia, the Mid-Atlantic Region, Washington, and New York. |
