The University of the Arts offers the Interest-Free Monthly Payment Option as a way of helping you afford education expenses more easily. It's a program that allows you to spread expenses over ten monthly payments.

One-half of your Full Year Expenses is due in mid August, before the Fall Term begins; the balance is payable in mid December, before the Spring Term begins.

No deferments are permitted, unless you participate in the Monthly Payment Option. With the Option, your expenses may be spread over ten equal monthly payments from May 2002 to February 2003, without interest. This will enable you to conserve savings and more easily budget expenses. The only cost is an annual $50 enrollment fee. Also, your financial aid grants and loans must all be applied for in a timely manner, to ensure that your financial aid funds are received by the tuition dates.

The University provides health services with a Registered Nurse from Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, during the academic year and for six weeks in the summer. First-aid is rendered and minor illness treated. Through a contract with Jefferson Family Medicine Associates, students with non-emergency illnesses or injuries may be referred without charge to JFMA doctors by the University Nurse or Athletic Trainer. However, emergency room visits, x-rays, lab work, physical therapy and referrals to specialists are not covered by this contract. Students are strongly encouraged to carry their own health insurance to cover the cost of such services.
