An interdisciplinary seminar in which students frm all graduate programs examine theoretical issues relating to the place of art and design in society. Topics include the social role of the artist/designer, public policy and the arts, issues of post-modernism, and aesthetic and ethical implications of emerging arts and communications technologies.  

University Seminar: Criticism

An interdisciplinary seminar in which advanced graduate students further examine the nature of image-making in design with particular attention to the theories and applications of criticism.
