PIE Registration Information

Enrollment is limited and courses often fill early. 


Registration
Payment in full is due in order to be registered for a class.  Register by mail, fax, or online registration.  Click the "regsiter now" link next to any course you would like to take to enter the WebAdvisor system. Online registration requires payment in full by credit card.

Non-credit
PIE courses may be taken as non-credit on a space-available basis at a reduced tuition rate.  Non-credit course do not qualify for PA Act 48 requirements.

Cancellations
If a class is cancelled by the Professional Institute for Educators, you will be asked if you would like to transfer to another course or if you wish to be refunded in full. Process time for refunds is three weeks.

Drop/Add/Withdrawal/Refund
If you choose not to enroll in the class, you must notify the University in writing via fax, e-mail, or letter, no later than two weeks before the start of the class. Our fax number is 215-717-6538, or e-mail: PIE@uarts.edu. No drop requests will be accepted by phone.

Students dropping a course more than two weeks prior to the start date will receive a full refund of tuition and fees, minus a $50 drop fee. If a course is dropped less than two weeks prior to the course start date, no tuition or fees will be refunded. However, tuition and fees may be transferred to another course within the same semester with a transfer fee of $50 charged. All refunds take a minimum of three weeks to process.
