Culture Vultures: Mardi Gras with Wild Bohemians (Music of Louisiana)

The Wild Bohemians have brought the sounds, dance, and raucous joy of Mardi Gras to Philadelphia since 1984. The band's repertoire consists of any and all music from Louisiana, including Cajun, Zydeco, Dixieland, Mardi Gras Street Music, Jazz, R&B, and a specialty the Bohemians called Swamp Stomp. The band also shows a penchant for silliness, wearing wild costumes, telling strange tales, making weird noises, and playing novelty songs that strike their fancy.

Optional Pre-Show Meet-up: Gershman Hall Lobby, 7 p.m.

Part of Student Affairs Multicultural Performance and Exhibition Series sponsoring free tickets and/or transportation to several of Philadelphia's multicultural exhibitions, performances and events. Sign up for any of the events at the Student Affairs Office in Gershman Hall (Room 311).
