After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design, Chris Buzelli moved to New York City and began his career as an illustrator. His paintings have appeared in many publications including Rolling Stone, TIME, Playboy and The New York Times. Buzelli has collaborated on many projects for design firms and advertising agencies. Some recent projects include a poster for Macy's Annual Flower Show, a series of 12 paintings based on green energy fairy tales for Entega, a green energy company in Berlin (DDB), a series of posters for MGM Resorts annual VIVA Festival (R & R Partners), a series of posters for the Tropen Museum in Amsterdam (Saatchi and Saatchi) and an ad campaign for United Airlines. Recently, his work has been recognized by winning a GOLD award from Spectrum (editorial) and Society of Illustrators (advertising). He also shows his work in various galleries throughout the US and teaches once a week at RISD and SVA.
