The School of Music presents "Music from the Great White Way," featuring seven decades of Broadway's greatest songs as performed by the School of Music's Musical Theater ensembles. This extraordinary presentation, highlighted by a cast of more than 50 singers and instrumentalists, will be performed on Saturday, May 4 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 5 at 4 p.m. Both performances are free and open to the public.
This ambitious concert, under the supervision of UArts Vocal Division Head Jeffrey Kern, will feature the Musical Theater Ensemble, a vocal ensemble with 34 singers, and the Musical Theater Pit Ensemble, with 17 instrumentalists.
