The School of Film presents the Spotlight Series, which brings visiting filmmakers, writers and animators to campus to present their work to both public and University audiences. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Painter/illustrator/animator Ellen Marcus will share her adventures and experiences from working in a professional animation studio in Chicago to comic books, illustration and gallery painting. Topics include commercial studio animation process, freelance contracts, what to do when you're not animating, and a presentation of animation.
