Isa Barnett '43 and Ivan Barnett '69: Generation to Generation

An exhibition in tribute to the distinguished Philadelphia/Santa Fe artist and illustrator Isa Barnett DIPL '43 (Illustration), presented by his artist son Ivan BFA '69 (Illustration). Isa is remembered as an esteemed and influential teacher at UArts.
On display will be a wide range of works by Isa – including paintings, drawings, historical illustrations and photography – with contemporary mixed media by Ivan. Archival photos and writings help to tell their intimate father-son story. Most works are on loan from private collections; others are available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds from works sold during the exhibition and through December 31, 2012, will benefit the University of the Arts.
Opening Reception: Saturday, October 20, 5 – 7 p.m.
