Louie Palu's lecture about his work runs concurrently with "The Fighting Season," an exhibition in the Sol Mednick Gallery of his studies of Kandahar and Helmand provinces in southern Afghanistan between 2006 and 2010.

A reception will follow in the Sol Mednick Gallery from 4 to 6 p.m.

The lecture is free and open to the public.
