Gerald Nichols: More Incessant, Three Last Suppers, for Leo Steinberg

Window on 11

The School of Art is pleased to announce the inaugural exhibition of Window on 11 in Terra Hall, featuring the work of Painting/Drawing Professor Gerald Nichols, who examines and explores Leonardo da Vinci's 15th century fresco "The Last Supper." For more than 500 years, this iconic image has inspired artists to create works of art ranging from paintings, prints and sculpture to literature and film. In "Leonardo's Incessant Last Supper," Leo Steinberg asks the question: "Is there anything more to be said?" Nichols says, "Yes."
