School of Art Faculty, Alums in Wayne Art Center Exhibition

Craft + Material Studies program Director Mi-Kyoung Lee MFA ’96 (Book Arts/Printmaking) curates "Making Marks," an exhibition at the Wayne Art Center that brings together 15 national and international fibers and textile artists. In addition to Lee’s own work, the exhibition features pieces by UArts faculty members Warren Seelig, Jeanne Jaffe and Andrew Dahlgren MID ’07, as well as alumni Cindy Friedman BS '78 (ID), Piper Shepard BFA ’85 (Fibers), Susie Brandt BFA ’84 (Fibers), Dot Vile BFA ’13 (Craft + Material Studies), Qiang Gong BFA ’13 (Craft + Material Studies), and Carla Fisher CERT '16 (Fibers/Textiles). Lee has also organized the participation of the Making Marks artists in the International Fiber Art Fair at the Hangaram Art Museum, Seoul Art Center in South Korea in June, 2017.
