The Trojan Women: A Love Story

Caplan Studio Theater

Directed by Brind School Senior Lecturer Bill Buddendorf.

Charles Mee's "The Trojan Women: A Love Story" is a warped and poetic adaptation of Euripides' classic play in which the world is reduced to disarray and anguish from which it will never recover. Troy is in ruins as death and disorder are spreading throughout the world. Weaving together an ancient Greek play with opera, blues and rock songs, and interviews with war survivors, Mee has created a unique theatrical experience that will surely surprise.
