Mobile Masters: Mobile Photo Lecture & Workshop

In this four-hour session co-sponsored by the Photography program, you can learn essential and esoteric mobile photo editing and shooting techniques from two of the most recognized names in iPhoneography: Dan Marcolina and Cindy Patrick. Also get a historical perspective on this evolving movement from Stephen Perloff, one of the most respected photo historians.

You will learn how to get the best quality images in and out of your mobile device. You will discover custom "app stacking" formulas that render dynamic image results. Key app techniques covered are Image Perfecting, Painting, Blur, Light, HDR, Grunge Style and Compositing. Learn secrets to unlock the best features in each app.

Free admission with UArts ID at the door for students, staff and faculty. Limited seating. Activities include a book signing, lunch break at noon, and meet the speakers and share portfolios from 2 to 3 p.m.

Stephen Perloff is a noted Philadelphia teacher and photography historian, and is the founder and editor of The Photo Review and editor of The Photography Collector.

Dan Marcolina is the author of the first book on iPhoneography and the eBook series iPhone Obsessed. He is one of the most influential leaders in iPhoneography.

Cindy Patrick is one of the most recognized names in iPhoneography, having won some of the highest awards available. Her work has appeared in many publications.
