The Art of Josh Cochran

Richard C. von Hess Illustration Gallery

The Illustration program's Richard C. von Hess Gallery is dedicated to featuring nationally and internationally recognized professional illustrators, including artist Josh Cochran.

Cochran grew up in Taiwan and the United States. He has received awards from publications and organizations including Print Magazine's 20 under 30 New Visual Artists 2009, ADC Young Guns 6, Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, and was recently featured on the cover of Communication Arts. His work is commissioned by a diverse group of clients in editorial, advertising, publishing, broadcast and the web. Josh occasionally fills in art directing for the N.Y. Times Op-Ed page. He enjoys working on a variety of side projects and exhibits his silk screens and drawings in galleries.
