Alumni Professional Practices & Art Documentation Workshop

12:00-1:00pm: Brown Bag Lunch: Professional Practices with Shelley Spector
Bring your lunch and join us for this refresher course in how to present yourself as an artist and your work, specifically in open-call exhibition application settings. Topics include: pricing work, titling work, standard label information, completing application forms, online vs. postal application standards, quick tricks for photographing work & formatting image files for submission. Spector is a Senior Lecturer in the UArts BFA and MFA programs.

1:00-1:30pm: Coffee Break sponsored by the UArts Alumni Association

1:30-4:30pm: Art Documentation Workshop with Ken Yanoviak
Sign up for a time slot to have your work photographed. Various studio set-ups will provided for different mediums of art work. Bring your own camera or have the photographer shoot your piece. Please bring a flash drive with you. Yanoviak will go over the  basics of photographing your work. He is a freelance photographer and Master Lecturer of Photography at UArts.
