In Front of Strangers, I Sing: Daniel Gerwin
May 25—Sep 1 2013
Woodmere Art Museum
This group exhibition includes work by Fine Arts Lecturer Daniel Gerwin. The 72nd annual juried exhibit features works in a wide variety of media from artists living within 50 miles of the museum. Works were selected to create a cohesive presentation that explores contemporary themes and ideas within the arts of Philadelphia. Artists Dona Nelson and Rubens Ghenov, whose own work is also on view, juried the exhibition. In addition, the artists have select objects for display from Woodmere’s collection that relate to the show’s themes. The exhibition is accompanied by an illustrated catalog.
