Relationship to the arts:

I fell in love with & started studying visual arts in the early 90’s.  I have not stopped.  I think that creativity and the arts are a way of thinking and being, and they will be with me always.  My dream house is one filled with beautiful art.  Also, performing and visual artists are usually my most favorite people, which is part of why I love UArts. Hobbies/ Interests:

Health & nutrition are very important to me, I’m always trying to figure out how to prepare a more nutrient-dense (& of course, delicious) meal.  Baking.  It’s the most seriously wonderful way (that I’ve found) of combining the art of yum with the art of pretty.  Swim, Bike, Run.  I love to find the limits of what I thought I could do, and then push it a little bit further (it feels good, and you’d be surprised at how much “further” you’re capable of).  I will be an Iron Athlete by the time I’m 40.

Education and Background:

I earned my BFA in Glass in 2004 from the Cleveland Institute of Art.  Additionally, I graduated from The Pittsburgh High School for Creative and Performing Arts in 1999, majoring in Visual Art.
