Timothy Ford

Title / Job Description: Regional Admissions Counselor - West Coast. Responsible for coordinating recruitment efforts throughout the western region by visiting high schools and community colleges, giving presentations, and participating in college fairs. My office is based out of my home in Los Angeles and my travel territories consist of California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada and Arizona. I also counsel applicants whose last name begins with H or L. It is my goal to put students I meet at ease about the college admission process.
 
Relationship to the Arts: I'm a trained dancer who has performed in the Los Angeles area with the Lula Washington Dance Theatre and Jazzantiqua Dance and Music Ensemble. My training consists of studies in jazz, modern, ballet and ballroom. Over the years, I have studied under the tutelage of Pat Taylor, Ron E. Brown, Lula Washington, Jean Isaacs and Sara Yarborough, to name a few. 
 
Hobbies / Interests: Dancing, tennis, traveling, shopping, go to theater and musicals, and watching classic comedy sitcoms on antenna TV.

Education / Background: BA in Theater with a Dance Emphasis from the University of California, San Diego. Exchange student at Morehouse College.

Professional / Personal Organizations: NACAC, WACAC, Regional Admissions Counselors of California (RACC)
