Portfolio Review, Audition & Interview Dates

The University of the Arts seeks students who demonstrate talent and potential in their chosen creative discipline. Therefore, all programs require a portfolio, writing sample, audition and/or interview as part of the application for admission. These evaluations are used to determine acceptance into a program of study, as well as eligibility for merit-based scholarships. For complete requirements by degree program, please visit our Undergraduate Portfolio & Audition Requirements page.

Below are on- and off-campus portfolio review, audition and interview dates.

Portfolio Review Days:
First-time freshmen applicants should call 800-616-2787 x 6049 to schedule a portfolio review. Transfer students will be contacted by the Office of Admissions to arrange a portfolio review once all college transcripts have been received and evaluated. An official review will only be conducted for students who have submitted an application.

  • Monday - Friday, 10 am - 3 pm
Portfolio Reviews are offered on-campus Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm. A portfolio review provides you the opportunity to have an Admissions counselor or faculty member review your portfolio in its current stage and offer recommendations for additional pieces that may enhance your portfolio overall. A submitted application is not required to schedule a portfolio review.
  • The University of the Arts participates in National Portfolio Day events around the country, to give students an opportunity to show their in-progress portfolios in an informal setting for feedback and guidance.
