Relationship to the Arts: Growing up, I drew, painted and regularly visited art, design and historical museums. When deciding what college to attend, I chose UArts because I was impressed by the quality of the freshman work that hung in the hallways, my mom was an alumna and I was awarded a phat scholarship. I took photography as one of my first-year electives. I enjoyed it so much that, with a little encouragement from the amazing faculty in the photography department, I decided to get my BFA in it.
Hobbies / Interests: Puppies
Education / Background: I graduated in May 2011 from the University of the Arts with a BFA in Photography. I shoot freelance for the Philadelphia Daily News, where I’ve been published previously, and also intern for the VASA Project. I am currently looking into getting my master's degree in Museum Studies, specifically Museum Exhibition Planning and Design, which is offered at the University of the Arts!
