Choosing the Right College
Choosing the right college for your child is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make. While considering prospective colleges, you're probably grappling with a litany of questions:
  • Does the school offer a quality education?
  • Does it provide a supportive environment where every student feels part of a friendly community?
  • Does the curriculum adequately prepare them for a profession?
  • And in the case of our more creative kids, does the educational process encourage their talents as much as possible? Will it prepare them for a rewarding career in the arts and communication after graduation?

At the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, we strive to provide meaningful answers for your aspiring artist, dancer, actor, musician, filmmaker, or writer.

We also know that you will have questions about tuition and financial aid. You can find additional financial information at CashCourse.org, a valuable resource devoted to student financial literacy.

A Community of Passionately Creative Individuals
The University of the Arts welcomes all aspiring creative people into a close-knit, vibrant community whose passion and commitment spur our students to create works that make a lasting impact on society. We have over 2,100 undergraduate and graduate students, representing 40 states, with an international student body from 30 countries. We challenge them as they have never been challenged before. And, most important, we prepare them for a successful career in their chosen field. Many UArts graduates tap into our network of connections—they remain close with faculty and mentors, complete alumni questionnaires, and visit campus. Over 84 percent of these graduates are working in their fields.

Choose the University of the Arts
Choosing the right college for your talented child can be a long and complicated decision process. But, if he or she is passionately committed—be it to Art and Design, the Performing Arts, or Media and Communication—then we urge you and your family to visit the University of the Arts. You’ll find a place where creative people can reach their highest potential and experience a fulfilling career in the arts or communication.
