Just how far do you want to take your talent? Put your future in motion by training alongside dancers and professionals from across the globe.
For over 80 years, students have gathered at UArts to immerse themselves in what a college Dance program can offer. Follow a college-level curriculum and live alongside dancers and artists from across the globe. The course of study is challenging, imaginative and features professional faculty in a positive working environment.
You will have intensive days of class, rehearsal and workshops in the University's nine spacious studios, accompanied by professional musicians. In addition to work in the studio, you will take outings to area arts attractions including emerging you to venues across the city of Philadelphia.
The Pre-College Dance program focuses on broadening each dancer's artistic horizons – in technique, choreography and critical thinking. You will leave the program with information about many ways to be involved in the field of dance.
