After UArts : Interdisciplinary Fine Arts
Our Interdisciplinary Fine Arts alumni are exhibiting artists, museum directors, curators, educators, critics and business entrepreneurs. Their work can be found in museums and galleries around the world, including the Harvard University Art Museum, Tate Modern London and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.
One IFA alumnus, Frank Hartman BFA '92 (Sculpture), is a Mars rover driver at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratories, where he uses his fine arts degree to "interpret three-dimensionally what I'm seeing in these 2-D images."
Job titles of other Interdisciplinary Fine Arts grads include curator of special projects at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and director of the Center for Hispanic Excellence at the University of Pennsylvania.
