Who is the Diploma in Vocal Performance program designed for?
The program is designed primarily for students who wish take the entire musical portion of the undergraduate BM in Vocal Performance curriculum without Liberal Arts courses.

What vocal performance opportunities are available?
Select ensembles that  reflect your interests, including jazz vocal ensembles, chorus and chamber singers, vocal workshops, and an ongoing series of master classes. Collaborate with the School of Dance so you can perform with live performers.

How will I be prepared for a professional singing career?
Many of our students begin to perform professionally before graduating. Philadelphia offers numerous venues for soloists and small ensembles in concert halls and clubs.

Are faculty professional musicians?
Yes. The School of Music faculty is made up of experienced and practicing professionals, many of whom have attained international stature as performing and recording artists. This professional faculty is supplemented by an impressive roster of guest artists along with a regular series of workshops, master classes, and performances guests including Billy Joel.

UArts also offers a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a two-year Certificate in Vocal Performance.
