UArts Dance Core is a two-year program that provides you with an intensive groundwork in a full range of dance styles. All Dance majors are required to complete the Dance Core before they declare majors.

When do I choose a major?
At the end of the first semester of the Sophomore year, all BFA in Dance candidates are required to complete a juried Upper-Divisional Exam. At this time, you will apply to a specific major:
o BFA in Ballet
o BFA in Jazz
o BFA in Modern
o BFA in Dance Education
