BFA in Modern Dance

UArts Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance program is designed for students who wish to prepare for professional careers in modern dance performance and/or choreography.

What makes UArts' Modern Dance degree program special?
The four-year Modern Dance degree program at UArts will help you find discipline and focus. As a Modern Dance degree candidate you will first complete the  Dance Core and pass the juried Upper-Divisional Exam. As a Modern Dance major, you'll focus on advanced technique, repertoire and composition in the area of Modern Dance and continue study in ballet or jazz dance.
